THE KIlOGRAM PLAY
A 10-minute comedy in progress.
Elle visits her old college friend Slide in Paris, but gets more than she bargained for when it turns out that the grad student has 'temporarily borrowed' the Kilogram from the International Bureau of Weights and Measures. The kilogram is one of the last remaining units of measurement that is still defined by a physical object--the Meter Stick having been retired in 1983. Slide has big plans for the little metal cylinder before it is decommissioned.
