Carrie and Trish desperately want to have a baby, but they cannot conceive of having a boy. Distrusting of the fertility technician-industrial complex, they approach their friend Vivi, a transgender woman, to provide the sperm. Somewhere along the way they realize that their business arrangement has become much, much more.
