CHARACTERS

AMBER - "Ambs." Works part-time from home as a ghostwriter. The kind of person who does one, maybe two things per day, and isn't unhappy about that. 29.

KATIE - "Katie is already a nickname, you can't make it shorter." A marketing consultant, sometimes she wishes she'd stuck it out as an artist, but then again, telling people how to not suck at things is its own kind of art. 31.

GAVIN - "Gav." The last time Amber saw him, she kicked him out of his life for good. We see how well that went. 29.

Stir-Fried Strawberries is the stand-alone sequel to God Herself Could Not Sink This Ship. Five years later, Amber and Katie are mostly-happily married. They decide to have a child, but run into fertility issues. Cue Gavin, Amber's "first" and onetime forever friend, who, unfortunately, Katie still hates rather a lot.

Strawberries is a time-jumping fast-paced romantic drama about what we pass on to our children and what we carry with us from our past.
